Loos & Co., Inc. has been awarded U.S. Patent No.3,574,996 for developing a method of plastic coating chain in continuous lengths. This process envelops the chain in a plastic sleeve and can be accomplished on all types of chain.

Loos & Co. has developed a plastic coated cable which will reflect light. A 1/8" wide strip of our reflective material appears to be one foot wide when seen from a distance of several hundred feet at night. The reflective material is an integral part of the vinyl coated cable and will not separate, has excellent weatherability, and is reasonably priced.
